Over the past few days, I've been going through old photographs and I came across these two of Paula playing rugby. She is not smiling in these pictures (as she usually is in most photos), but has a look of fierce determination. This determination of hers was not confined only to rugby, but existed for everything that she was passionate about.

She looks formidable.
my heart aches for you and your son.
I pray that even though you may not will it, that things are becoming easier to cope with day after day. May your thoughts and memories of Paula be always positive.
*Prayers :)
Remember how proud she was of her wounds and scrapes and bruises? She had a competitive spirit I always admired. But always the most sportsman-like member on the team.
I wish it wasn't Micah's 2nd birthday. I wish he could stay 4 months old forever and Paula would still be with us. Love you dear friend!
Thanks, Darren. She "played with
her heart on her sleeve" - and with
such a huge heart.
I have a tough time reading this blog many days - I am crying in the public library right now: happy tears for the beautiful memories, and tears of grief for the loss. I really appreciate the strength you share with your posts.
Best wishes to you and Micah in your new home and always.
